The Mask
Introducing the inaugural product that inspired us to form our business: The Mā Mask. Face masks are now an everyday commodity for a large portion of the population. As most masks are specified as 'single-use', there is an increasing amount of waste being sent to landfill. Masks are also designed in a way that covers the entire mouth and nose area of the face to protect the user and those they come into contact with, leaving speech muffled and facial expressions hidden. We seek to provide an elegant, simple and low-cost solution to these basic problems. By creating a mask that is durable, reusable and transparent, not only can we make a significant reduction in the amount of waste we produce, but we can continue to engage with each other and express ourselves in a meaningful way-all while knowing we are doing all that we can to protect ourselves and others. This is the Mā Mask.

Wearing an uncomfortable mask can be distracting and sometimes even painful. Our ergonomically designed masks are made with soft, skin-friendly materials. With the unique soft seal and adjustable strap you can focus on the task at hand.

Single-use masks are polluting shorelines and ending up in landfills. Minimise waste with our replaceable P2 filters (pending certification to AS/NZ 1716:2012 standards) made from recycled plastics. Our masks are made to last, not to be thrown out.
